Community Service

Rockingham recognizes the importance of providing community minded services and giving assistance to those in need. We do so with a dedicated spirit of community involvement and participation. Community service is part of our mission. As a public service, Rockingham Ambulance crews provide standby coverage for many community sponsored events such as high school football games and other civic events like fairs & festivals that take place on the Main Streets of Nashua and Manchester. Our ambulances and staff are a visible reminder at these events providing an extra level of comfort and assisting in the continual education of our citizens about EMS and the important role that Rockingham plays in the health of the community.

Ambulance donated to Greater Manchester American Red Cross

The Greater Manchester chapter of the American Red Cross accepted a donation of a 1989 Van style ambulance from Rockingham for use in their disaster services response team. The vehicle will carry equipment and personnel to the wide area served by the Manchester Red Cross during disaster situations.

First Aid Demonstrations/Ambulance Tours

Our staff is available for first aid demonstrations to civic groups such as Rotary Clubs, Boy & Girl Scout Troops and many others. We offer ambulance tours for all ages that are informative and fun. Tours of our stations are also available. (small picture of Andy W & Rebecca C with scout troop) 9-1-1 Safety for Kids 9-1-1 coloring books are available to assist in educating youngsters about the use of the national emergency number 9-1-1. These books help familiarize children with the proper use of the number and help teach them about emergency responders.

United Way

Rockingham Ambulance and its nearly 100 employees support the United Way and their funded agencies. Through employee and corporate contributions we have helped raise thousands of dollars for the local United Way. Rockingham employees also regularly participate in the United Way Day of Caring and on United Way Funds Distribution committees.

Community Events

A Rockingham Ambulance at the Pheasant Lane Mall in Nashua, NH

Rockingham stands by, as a public service, for hundreds of community events each year. Whether the Olympic torch is coming through town or a block party is taking place, Rockingham will provide the adequate crews and additional ambulances necessary to safely protect the citizens and visitors in our communities should a medical emergency occur. That's why we're here - for you.

VIP Visits

New Hampshire is a special place with our first in the nation primary. As a result we receive many visits from both the President and Vice President of The United States as well as other national figures. Rockingham helps medically protect these VIP's and the people that attend the events that are held for them. Watch for our ambulances and medics at these events and in the motorcades that safely take the VIP's throughout the entire state.
