Rockingham Ambulance Announces New Full-Time Ambulance Schedule

Rockingham Ambulance recently announced that it is changing its full time ambulance work schedule effective July 1, 2002. Beginning on that date, full time ambulance work schedules will change to 48 hours a week with 10 & 14 hour shifts.

"This new schedule will allow our employees more time off between shifts and will allow them to spend more time away from work to be with their families", said Chris Stawasz, Executive Director. "Changing to this type of schedule has been a goal of ours for some time and we are pleased to be able to make it happen."

The new schedule will also add additional ambulance unit hours to better serve customers by adding additional ambulances during peak staffing times.

Rockingham Ambulance is New Hampshire's largest 9-1-1 provider serving the communities of Nashua, Manchester and Candia, NH. Rockingham covers over 200,000 lives on a daily basis responding to more than 16,000 9-1-1 requests annually. Rockingham is an all advanced life support ambulance service and is the only Nationally Accredited ambulance service in the northeastern United States.
