Rockingham Employees Recognized as “National Stars of Life” for
2002
May,
2002 – With a theme of “We Are There When America Calls”,
the members of the American Ambulance Association paid it’s annual tribute
to this years Star of Life recipients on May 7, 2002 at the Marriott Metro Center
in Washington, DC.
This was the 10th Annual Stars of Life event.
Rockingham Regional Ambulance, Inc. was proudly represented by two Stars of Life this year. EMT-Intermediate Rebecca Coltey and Paramedic Dennis Mechem were selected by their peers and managers to represent NH at this annual event.
Rebecca & Dennis were selected as Stars for their positive work ethic, and for their professionalism and demeanor towards patients, co-workers and other healthcare professionals.
The American Ambulance Association annually recognizes Stars of Life from across America. This year, 34 states were represented with 109 Stars. The most ever.
While in
Washington, Rebecca and Dennis met with and were congratulated by their elected
representatives, Senator’s Judd Gregg and Bob Smith and Congressmen Charlie
Bass and John Sununu.
