Rockingham Ambulance Employees Recognized as “National Stars of Life”
for 2005
May 10, 2005 - With a theme of “ We’re there when America Calls ”, the members of the American Ambulance Association paid an annual tribute to this years Star of Life recipients on May 3, 2005 at the Omni Shore Hotel in Washington, DC. This was the 13th Annual Stars of Life event.
Two Stars of Life proudly represented Rockingham Regional Ambulance, Inc. this year. EMT – Intermediate Scott Hurst and Operations Center Coordinator Scott Quilty were selected by their peers and managers to represent both Rockingham Ambulance and the State of NH at this annual event.
Scott & Scott, both long time Rockingham employee’s, were chosen for their commitment to excellent patient care, their positive work ethic and for consistently upholding the core values of Rockingham Ambulance. Both are true representatives of some of the finest EMS personnel in America.
The American Ambulance Association annually recognizes Stars of Life from each state across America as a pre-EMS week tribute. This year, 98 Stars of Life from across the US were honored.
While in Washington, Scott & Scott met with and were congratulated by their elected representatives, Senator’s Judd Gregg and John Sununu and Congressmen Charlie Bass and Jeb Bradley. They also met with key staff members of NH’s legislative delegation and discussed numerous pre-hospital healthcare and homeland security issues.
