Mass Casulty Incident Vehicle Design Underway

January 25, 2000 - Plans are underway to develop and equip a mass casualty unit (MCI) that is capable of treating a large number of MCI patients. A group of Rockingham employees are currently working with other EMS agencies with similar units to help them design what will best work in this area. They are developing equipment lists and operational protocols for the unit. Plans call for the unit to be mission capable later in 2000. The new MCI unit will be able to respond to incidents in the Nashua or Manchester area.
