Rockingham Regional Ambulance, Inc. announces plans for additional location in New Hampshire
February 2, 2007 - Rockingham Regional Ambulance, Inc. has announced plans for the opening of a new location in Brentwood, NH. The new station will provide both ALS and BLS ambulance services as well as chair car operations and serve as a base for Rockingham’s seacoast operations. Services will be available 24/7.
“We are pleased to be able to expand our services to the seacoast area”, said Chris Stawasz, Rockingham’s Executive Director. “This is a nice opportunity for growth in a market that we feel is in need of additional resources for quality medical transportation services”, he added. “We are actively recruiting people to staff the estimated 15 new full time positions this new venture will require”, Stawasz said. The new facility is scheduled to open by April 1, 2007.
Rockingham Regional Ambulance, Inc. is New Hampshire’s largest 9-1-1 ambulance service provider. The company provides paramedic level emergency medical transportation services to the cities of Nashua and Manchester along with the Town of Candia. Rockingham employs over 150 medics and has a fleet of over 30 vehicles.
Rockingham also provides advanced life support medical transportation services to numerous hospitals and medical facilities throughout southern New Hampshire and is New Hampshire’s only Nationally Accredited commercial ambulance service. Rockingham is a member company of St. Joseph Healthcare in Nashua, NH.
