Rockingham Ambulance Donates Four Retired Ambulances To Local Charities in 2006

Rockingham Ambulance recently donated 4 used ambulances to local area charities for use in their community outreach programs.

The Greater Nashua Area Red Cross received a 1994 Ford Type II ambulance for use with its disaster emergency services unit.  The vehicle will allow the Red Cross to bolster their resources in responding to area emergencies.

The Greater Nashua Medical Reserve Corps received a 1992 Ford Type III ambulance for use with it’s regional disaster response team. 

The Nashua Fire Rescue Department  received a 2002 Ford Type III ambulance for use with emergency dive team.  This vehicle will replace a vehicle that was previously donated to NFR by Rockingham several years ago.

The Town of Frye Island, ME received a 2001 Ford Type III ambulance for use in responding to medical emergencies as the occur on the seasonal island in Maine.

Rockingham Ambulance regularly donates ambulances that it retires from its fleet to local  and regional charities for use in their programs.  Agencies who may be interested in receiving a donated vehicle should contact Rockingham Ambulance for more information.
